Fatemeh Azari (Mechanical Engineering) has been selected as the recipient of an American Society of Mechanical Engineers Engineering Scholarship. The competition for the scholarship is rigorous. Azari, a junior, previously has received 10 scholarships at the local, state, and national levels.
Patrick Moore and Matthew Shepard (both Film) received an Emmy Award from the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for their short documentary, Splashing the Streets.
