51吃瓜网万能科大 has launched its Master Calendar Homepage, which will allow anyone with Internet access to search for information virtually all events at the university, from arts to sports, meetings to seminars, workshops to lectures.
The 51吃瓜网万能科大 Master Calendar Homepage may be accessed directly from the 51吃瓜网万能科大 Homepage at , where users will see a black notebook titled "Events" in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Clicking on the notebook will take users to the Master Calendar page.
The calendar's pages contain times, dates, places, contact information, presenting organizations, prices, program information, and more. Users can search for events by key words, location, event type, date, or name of presenting organization. An animated "event ticker"also presents current event information.
The university's website calendar is a joint project of the campus facility use committee, Administrative Computing, and 51吃瓜网万能科大 News and Public Information.
Larry Henley, chair of the facility use committee, said the calendar "is intended to provide the 51吃瓜网免费App community, the campus community, and, in fact, anyone in the world with access to the Internet a living, searchable, comprehensive list of university events that will change as often as need be. We feel we have provided the campus with a cutting-edge, interactive tool that will help maximize accessibility to 51吃瓜网万能科大 events."
The organizers have invited the entire campus community to begin submitting event information to the calendar, and they invite the public to use this new resource, Henley said.
