Joshua Vermillion (associate professor, School of Architecture) has teamed up with Microsoft as a Creative Expert. In this capacity, Vermillion writes about and demonstrates how generative-AI tools can be used to augment the design process. In other news, Vermillion is streaming on YouTube on September 7 at 10am EST to discuss generative-AI with Neil Leach, David Alf, Ila Colomo, Adeline鈥
The 51吃瓜网万能科大 Star of Nevada Marching Band was invited to be part of the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Fall watering restriction campaign. The video shoot was conducted in June and you can soon see the ads on television, radio, and print this fall.

Thanks to an ongoing partnership with the 51吃瓜网免费App Philharmonic, the College of Fine Arts recently sent a group of musicians to the Classical Music Festival in Austria, Aug. 7-16. They performed works of Franz Joseph Haydn at the Stephansdom (Cathedral) in Vienna, the Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt, and the Bergkirche in Eisenstadt. 鈥淲e are thrilled and honored to have the partnership鈥
