Biography
Rowena Saba, MEd, is the senior director of the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51吃瓜网万能科大 Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME). She oversees institutional GME operations, maintains accreditation, and provides a quality educational experience for over 300 residents and fellows. Rowena holds a master of education in higher education and a bachelor of science in biological sciences from 51吃瓜网万能科大.
Currently pursuing her PhD in education, her dissertation research explores the role of simulation-based leadership training in enhancing medical resident well-being, reducing burnout, and strengthening leadership competencies. With more than a decade of experience in academic medicine, she is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) and has an extensive background in clinical simulation, shaped through her work at the Clinical Simulation Center of 51吃瓜网免费App.
Beyond her leadership role in GME, she serves as an adjunct faculty member in the biology department of the College of Southern Nevada, where she teaches undergraduate biology.
