Why did you choose the obstetrics and gynecology residency program at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51吃瓜网万能科大?
During the interview day, I could tell there was a lot of warmth and joy among the residents and that it鈥檚 a supportive environment, which to me was the most important factor. Also, the fact that we鈥檙e the highest level of care in our area meant I鈥檇 get a lot of exposure to high acuity cases.
What are your interests within obstetrics and gynecology?
I鈥檝e really loved high-risk obstetrics for all its emotional highs and lows! I haven鈥檛 figured out if I鈥檇 like a fellowship or not.
What is your favorite thing to do in 51吃瓜网免费App?
Rock climbing or anything outdoors! Vegas has so many climbing routes locally (top roping and bouldering), and we鈥檙e surrounded by national parks.
What is one fun fact about you?
I grew a lot of the flowers for my wedding in my backyard! I鈥檒l never stop being obsessed with how my DIY wedding went, ask me for pictures.
What is one piece of advice you would give to candidates interested in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51吃瓜网万能科大 Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program?
Try and identify your biggest priorities in a future residency program and then go with what aligns best with those. Then if you still can鈥檛 decide, go with your gut!
