Beverly Hertig, a 21-year 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄܿƴó employee, has been selected as the president's classified employee of the year at 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄܿƴó.
Hertig, who is a management analyst in the College of Fine and Performing Arts, received a $1,000 honorarium.
Receiving the second place award was Veona Hunsinger, a management assistant in the sociology department. She received $750.
Kristene Fisher, a management assistant in the College of Science and Mathematics, received the third-place award and $500.
Nominations for the awards are made by 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄܿƴó students, faculty, and staff members. Winners are selected by a university-wide committee guided by 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄܿƴó's Classified Staff Council.
