Drs. Elissa Palmer and Dr. James Alexander (both Medicine) worked together to obtain a $2.9 million Health Resources and Services Administration training grant for 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÍòÄÜ¿Æ´ó Medicine's department of family medicine. The grant will be used to enhance family medicine education in maternity care and obstetrics training for resident physicians in 51³Ô¹ÏÍøÃâ·ÑApp and rural Nevada. The first year of the award is for $598,949 and the total over five years is nearly $3 million.
